Advice Needed - would love to pick your brains!

Hello allI just wondered if I could pick your brains really. This is an area we want to go into and I personally…See More

Hi there - I've used Hencilla Canworth to insure the past two shows I've been involved with, they are theatre specialists: http://www.hencilla.co.uk/

Hello   We keep our database very simple. We just use Microsoft Excel mixed with a bit of Outlook. It seems to work for us and keep everything organised and well-managed.   Carrie :)

On encouraging young audiences (or their parents) to take risks

http://www.itstheforest.comWhy should parents bring their children to see something like my company's dance piece 'The Forest'?When it’s half term and I scan the pages of the ‘what’s on for children’ sections of magazines I want to know that the experiences I choose for my children will be, to be honest, worth the effort, that they will enjoy it, that they will be enriched in some way, in any way, by what they’ve seen.I want to take them…See More

The age ranges I am thinking of is between 3 and 7 years.I find there is so much variation between the ages and abilities, I am interested in what factors decide how big or small we can go with our work.

Engaging younger audiences

Hello to all,As I continue to write I find there are two opposing ideas for creating theatre which engages younger audiences. The first, is to create small intimate pieces of work and the other is to create large epic pieces. Do creatives have a preference or a belief that one is more engaging than the other? See More
