Young Critics Juniors, IPAD Apps as a response method

Hi all I run a project in Wales called the Young Critics scheme at present the scheme is open to 12-25 year old young people. 

I am researching the possibility of developing a Young Critics Juniors Scheme for primary age children. I am investigating a range of IPad apps as a method of creating a resonse by a young person.

I am looking at Apps called Show me , Explain Everything, Book creator, Brushes, Cominc life and Garageband. 

Does anyone have any experience of this type of activity?
