A brand new walk about theatre show for young people right in the heart of Peterborough
In a shop in the middle of Peterborough, a strange and wonderful transformation has taken place. A shop that sells stories, dreams, fairytales and even nightmares. Come and explore the shop and meet the vampire shopkeepers and the adventurous vegetables. Hear songs from far-flung mystical lands as magical footballers and mad robots take you on a journey discovering a different story around every corner. One thing is for sure, you have never been to a shop like this before!
Join NIE and Eastern Angles for a brand new theatre show Tales from the Middle of Town happening right in the centre of Peterborough. We have spent a year collecting stories from over 1000 youngsters across Peterborough and have used them for this exciting site-specific show.You can expect lots of live music, clowning around and fast paced excitement as actors from all over Europe tell tales from all over Peterborough.
